How about Cajun Belcher. Most people would probably not realize it was your last name. If you show up for Moab, there might still be some chile harvesting going on. You could get a bushel to take home with you.

tacosalad = Dave Mc. Jennie Mc and I have been to a half dozen meetings, a Xmas tree run with Steve and Wendy, and the Sacramentos FJC Thrill on the Hill. Glad to finally get in the mud.

The official entry...

Steve and Wendy, current owners of a semi-built 40 (they're never done, right?) and second and third gen 4Runners. Formerly a couple of Toyota 4x4 pickups, a built first gen 4Runner that somebody wanted more than me, a '97 slee'd etc. 80, and a Corolla DD.

Hola Los Cruisers! My name is TomasMas= Tomas Moore
Fourth Generation native Santa Fean. I work in Film & Video production.
I have owned 4x4s my whole life but my last year's purchase of an FJ Cruiser has really gotten into it. I met a few HDC at "The Thrill on the Hill" and decided to join up.
Summer has been very hectic for me but hoping to meet up for a run with HDC this fall.

Welcome Tomas! We've got some other HD Cruisers in the Santa Fe and Espanola area.

Looking forward to wheeling with you.

Evan

There are a few folks that we have no idea who you are, so speak up. Hope this helps put names to our membership. New to the group? Introduce youself!

1911 =

1911 = Lee

Grew up in Colorado, currently living in rural north Texas but own land in the San Pedro Mountains in southern Santa Fe County. In the very slow process of improving the land with plans to build a house and move there permanently within two years. Self-employed geologist; before that (long ago) made a living as a motorcycle mechanic. Lived and worked in Colorado, Utah (including Moab), Alaska, and Texas. Yes, I'm old. Been driving Toyotas exclusively since 1990; first Cruiser was a 1991 FJ80 (still in the family as a DD). Current trucks are posted here HDC Vehicle Registry though I have made some significant improvements to the 40 since then.

Thanks for letting me hang out in your chapter; some day I will be there and contribute more.

Jemezcrusher = Sam B. Live about a mile from 126/4 junction. Lurk here and on mud. Travel a lot for work, and usually have so many projects and honey do's that I spend most of my weekends working at the house/shop, or my cabin which is 4 miles from the house.

Have a stone stock 88 62 that is my errand vehicle. Have done most of my Jemez exploring on dirt bike, quad, or snowmobile. Might have some input on some good runs (back side of the valle, back way to the San Antonio hots springs, etc. Like to stay up there on weekends for obvious reasons and only come to ALBQ if I have to, so attending meetings, etc not likely, but do enjoy living vicariously though the rest of you.

99VX = Paul H.

I've always had fun wheeling with Toyotas. Got room for an Isuzu guy in the group? I just moved to the area earlier this year and can't seem to find any other Zu's.

Welcome Paul! :flipoff2: Don't be offended - that's the official Mud salute.

I can't imagine that we'd have a problem with an Isuzu. Once you see what the Toyotas will do, you'll be in the market for one soon enough. :D

See the other thread about a run tomorrow (Saturday, 5/22) - we may be heading out west of Rio Rancho, and you're welcome to join us.

Thanks for the welcome Evan. Looking forward to meeting some of you local guys and figuring out where all the good trails are!
