Hi, Terrill Wade here. I'm terrible at introductions and mostly just stick my nose in the middle of things.
I bought my FJ40 to teach my children how to drive a standard and use it for hunting, wheeling and trail riding. It has started to turn into an obsession. I am currently installing a Mercedes diesel in it to replace the Chevrolet six that was put in it back in the 80's. When it's all said and done, I just want something that doesn't look like everybody else's Toy.

it's only a week or so old. i was tired of no clearcoat, and figured i'll bedliner it so if i hat the white it will go away anyway. i like the color, rattlecans suck. about 3 hr job from 220 grit to removing masking.
It looks like a really, really, really big Mini Cooper. You should paint the mirrors white.

I called you the other day by the way....I can peer into John's shop and see your (de) construction.
Yeah I saw you called, my folks were in town. I should be back up there sunday (thats the plan at least) working on it, might be putting some stuff back together actually, cant do everything I want to right now so I'm putting some cheap paint on it and get back on the road. I'll let you know if I head up that way sunday.
