Don't those wedges at 3 &9 o'clock go up under the edge of the shelf to make it more steady?

I carry a milwaukee m18 powered sawzall.... works great for me.
But what do you do for the second downed tree?![]()
Not much for posting here but have taken a number of ideas from you guys. Twice this last archery season I had to cut my way through roads/trails, so I built a bracket to mount a saw over the PS rear wheel well. Can post more detailed pics if anyone wants me to. View attachment 1150653

I will comment. I don't think having a chainsaw in my cruiser is the best idea. I believe the best idea I saw in this thread is the simple platform above the spare tire or however it works best on your bumper. In fact, I like it so much, I think I will build one before spring when I seem to run upon most of the downed trees I come across. When you not toting a saw you have a spot to carry something else.I agree. This looks like a great solution. My other thought after looking at this and wondering why others don't seem to be commenting on it is that it takes up precious floor space. Maybe a bracket like this that instead mounts to the holes where the grab bars are above the 3rd row seats? This would keep it accessible when loaded with gear and out of the way.
