Ok forgot to mention that now when I indicate my battery voltage meter also goes up and down with each tick of the signal indicator.

I have recently installed a mean green alternator for a two battery system (but have not completed that project) but will need to chase that up. Might need a new battery. Will report back on that gremlin

I had a mean green alt on my 60 and worked great. I have one for the 80 and I’ll install sometime this week and report back.

Where is the intercooler going?

Hello guys. I’m back.

I recently moved my supercharger from a 1996 GCC spec manual Landcruiser that was running a plug and play Haltech 2000 ECU to a 1996 Lexus 450 US spec and moved all these parts across also :
AEM fuel pump P/N 50-1000
AEM fuel regulator P/N 25-302BK
factory fuel filter
Denso injectors P/N 23250-YWG01 450 cc

I also moved the Haltech as a piggy back to run the engine.

I was getting 4/6psi boost on the Landcruiser. For some reason I’m getting 12psi boost on the Lexus.

Any idea what could be causing this major jump between the two cars ?

Is it a TRD/Magnusen supercharger? I've never heard of them producing so much.

Since superchargers are positive displacement, I wonder if a restriction after the supercharger would increase pressure?

Yes it’s a Magnuson SC

Spoke to a guy who said first thing to check is the crank pulley size as they are not all the same. Turns out the one on it is 20cm diameter and the stock on a gcc manual truck is 17.6cm. Will get that changed. Hope that fixes the issue.
