Hey guys! Not a lot of work done;
And then....

Dude. Sweet!

I’m considering rebooting the flatbed, and putting the band back together. Unless someone waves 7500 bucks at me. If I sell it after, it’s gunna be for a whole lot more.

Got a line on an fj80 frame, fuel tank, and harness. With the radius arms, steering gear, 3fe, a440, and tcase I got in the ex’s garage, I’m about to bring it together.

So I got the bosses lift stuck at full up, and it’s not the safeties. The rams are stuck at full extend. I’ve even cracked the lines and no joy. Anyone know what I gotta do to get the lift to let my camper back down? 🤣🤷‍♀️🤦‍♂️

Oh don’t say that

Oh no!!! Can I use a come along to pull the arms back down? The safeties are not the issue
Being outside maybe you got some crud in the channels and the camper is too light to push itself down? I’d try pulling it down a bit and see...worth a try.

The safeties are not the issue
If you can confirm the safeties are fully disengaged by smacking them with a rubber mallet and already cracked the hydraulic lines then it would almost have to be in some sort of bind. I would think you could see one side higher than the other if this was the case then pulling the high side down slightly with something like a come along would probably help.

Yeah I’m voting mechanical. Unless the piston is loose on the rod inside the ram and is cocked. Which I guess would still be considered mechanical🤔
We have a Broderson carry deck that will stall movement if the boom is beyond its boom-up limit. You have to use the override key to get it down.

Too late!

Well, is it down?
