h4 light lenses

found these NOS hella 7" headlight lenses to retrofit in h4 bulbs for my 73, these look pretty good and not so disco as the others. 4 sets left.

not a bad deal, but I think I'd rather have new E-code (euro beam pattern) Hella H4's than those vintage units with unknown beam pattern and possible deteriorated reflector.

But they are real, E code and mil spec. There are a lot of counterfiet hella parts for sale and I would not trust ebay for that. I have priced hella lenses and they are x2 the $.

That guy has a 100% rating with 1600+ sales. They're legit.

I've got a pair of old ones and the reflector is all but gone on one of them. I'd get new ones.

Edit: I bought a pair. He has a 2nd auction with the same parts a buck-or-so cheaper. I'll let you know how they turn out.

Should be the same light - $58 ea from SOR, plus ridiculous shipping and "box" charge, vs. $69 per pair plus shipping from above eBay vendor.

I love my IPF head light lens, with myu fat boy bulb. They light up the world. I love them. Sorry that the pics are not that good. I will get better ones tonight.

They're not sealed. You can just dump out the water and fix the rubber seals. Swish some windex around inside to clean them.

No. They throw a nice even beam that is very flat across the top when the low beams are on and plenty wide to light up both shoulders. I adjust them to be just below the mirrors of a car about 100' away. When I'm behind or coming towards you they look kind of "hollow", or dark.

The high beams are very bright, of course, and my three driving lights come on too, but I try to keep those out of people's eyes.

thought i would post a pic of my bosch ones any ideas on how good these are .they have numbers all over them with the bosch stamping on them as well
