The lens (81241-90300) is NLA from Toyota. The pre-07/80 light assembly is avail from Toyota, 81240-90300. MSRP is $72.50 so a lens @ $9.00 is perfect for many needs. I need to order a few for my personal projects. Well done!
🙆‍♂️ thank you

It was 10/81 with the door switch was added in some markets including the US. Seen Middle East FJ40 up to 84 that didn't have the door/off/on switch. So old style was used until the end of product in some markets.

Ah yes, I don’t know why I was thinking the change came earlier. I should have looked at our site (and that price is from the old site :D). And you’re right, EPC shows it in some markets right til 1985.

I wish someone would make the air intake horn for the later model (79+) FJ40 from a 3d printed material. Idgaf if it’s plastic.
Metal horn is available from City Racer
Al8ng with the tube.

No need for me to make it, I have modeled it so if he ever stops making it I would consider selling it.

@procomsignathid is correct. Nobody is currently making reproduction intake horns. City racer just sells the tubes that connect horn to air cleaner. That intake horn in the photo is for the 40 series with the 2F up to 1978. 1979+ is a different style horn. There is definitely a market for both horn styles to be reproduced as the originals have become stupid expensive. I’m still on board to buy one if you re-produce the 1979+ style as the original one is long gone from my project.

I’ll keep my fingers crossed you can find a 1979+ one to scan and model as easily as you found the previous style one. Thanks again.
