Very nice...How would just using a d-ring work for hooking it up? Just curious...I yet to use my winch on my rig. Looks good!

It has the thimble (normal loop) on the end of the synthetic line and instead of a hook with a pin I am putting a D ring through. To use it, I just spool out, hook to another D-ring, and pull.

Looks awesome man. Do you notice a big difference when driving with the extra weight on the front?

WAY improved. The handling is much better and it is smoother. The lift was made for the extra weight for sure.

So, I have been looking at some 2000 LXs. I saw your thread yesterday and tonight I own a pearl white 2005 gx470. Good thing I am not very impulsive. Still a little part of me wants the "big boy" landcruiser or LX. I was happy to leave my King Ranch diesel behind. My first venture into "newer" cruiser arena. I have owned 15 cruisers either fj45s, 55s, 40s and a couple 60s. Would like to talk to Dan about lift and tires. This thing looks a bit too much like a grocery getter!

We didn't even go in the store, just were leaving brain freeze after our own baseball practice. I'm up there all the time (live about a mile away) lifted green 2001 4runner with TRD FJ cruiser wheels.
