I’d be shocked if there was a matching spare.

I can live with a $1k max threshold for port/dealer fluff, anymore just irks me on principle.

This was a non-premium at a premium price after the BS. Premiums are listing in mid $70s!

Yeah southeast and gulf states seem to be having this plight. My premium is coming with about $250 in port options (edge guards and those BS cables) and no other BS outside of factory options.

Land Cruiser trim in traildust
Ideally premium package w/ the brown leather interior
$500 deposit placed August 7th with Molle Toyota in KC

I’m not the first on the list of cruisers there, but was told I was in the first dozen overall. No idea how my preferences affect that order

Canceled my spot on the list after seeing a couple 250s in the wild. Just really not worth it compared to my GX460 that I’m in the middle of a Prado swap on. A GX550 seems like a better deal and superior vehicle in a few years

Reports from other forums, and my own dealer, seem to indicate that almost all of the 250s are coming off hold rather quickly. Not sure about GXs.
Seems so from the GX forums...

Any way to track your LC's location and hold status short of your dealer giving you an update? My dealer is about useless and so far has given "no update yet" as the response whenever asked when mine come in.

You can check toyota.com/search-inventory. If yours has a date it is no longer on hold

Finally heard back from my sales guy. He's still insisting my delay is from the Baltimore bridge collapse (lol). However the good news is my delivery is expected between 7/2-7/10

Likewise. I just got a message that my truck has been released and is heading to the dealer. Should arrive sometime between 7/6-7/11.

The very annoying part is that my truck has been stateside since April 17. 🙃

So has anyone heard of a 250 being on the lot but not yet cleared of QC hold? I just went to get my 200 out of service and was going to test drive the 250 while I was up there. Salesman said no test drives until the hold is cleared? To clarify, I spoke with them earlier this week and they said they had no problem at all letting me test drive to compare with the 200.

Seems like in most cases, even with the hold, dealers were still selling them if they had possession. Since toyota no longer has a say at that point. I imagine that's why they held most of them at port.

Has the reason for the hold been officially announced?

Whatever it is, it's something the 1958 Editions do not have, because they were never held. Most think it was something to do with the sunroofs.

Received a call from Longo Lexus today.

GX550 OT+ Earth with Black Interior, ML stereo, HUD, Cool Box (meh, but OK) and modest Port Installed Options will be here for me this week. I did opt for the Toyota/Lexus frame sliders as they are reasonably beefy for my needs. VIN is in the low 11,xxx as an FYI for others on GX550 production.

My low 10,xxx VIN is currently processing at Long Beach. Arrived to port 6/23. Expected delivery is 7/9-8/5. Hopefully that tightens up once it’s on a rail car.

Is the Cool Box easily removed to regain storage space?

Good for you… mine landed back 5/17, just got released from hold last Friday and it’s estimating dealer deliver 7/21 - 8/2…
