There's lots of info online (including videos) on doing the timing belt/water pump. You should definitely read up on the process before you decide to have the dealer do it. It's a tedious job since you have to remove a lot of parts, but it's not overly difficult. I'm slow, so it took me the better part of two days to do mine. I'll loan you the crank pulley tool (and any other oddball tools you might need) if you decide to do it yourself. Still, $800 is reasonable to do a TB/WP. You'd want to consider changing the serpentine belt, timing belt tensioner/pulley, coolant change and some other miscellaneous items with the job though, so that price may go up.

It would be a shame to pay the dealer to do any of that other stuff on the list.

Just got my Rhino Rack Pioneer Platform installed with a 3 person RTT from Odin Designs in Castle Rock, CO. I'm very pleased with everything so far. Any Colorado guys looking for a rack or tent hit Odin Designs up, he's a new outfitter getting his business going, had some pretty good deals going. Next up is running boards delete, sliders, radflo lift, and tires.

Removed the running boards and did the Orion mod to cover up the white clips behind the wheel. Totally changes the look of the truck.

Is it just the front splash guard that needs the mod. Wondering how much time it takes to get it done.
Yeah it's just the front ones. If I had the right tools it wouldn't have taken more than an hour or so. Once I had the running boards off, I used a solder gun as a hot knife to cut the plastic off the front of the running board and a sander to smooth out the cuts. After you've got your two front pieces, it clips right back on where it was originally to cover the white clips.

Went for the minimalistic look and hung a 31" single row light bar under my rack. I was back and forth on the 41" or the 31" and I'm glad I went for the smaller one. There would've have been an issue mounting the larger one. It is very bright at night.

I know it's been a few months since you installed the new rubber, but I am having the same dilemma you were regarding the suspension and new tires/wheels. Looks like you ended up going for smaller tires instead of the 285/70s. The 265/70's are a smidge bigger than the stock, do you have any rubbing at all?

Yeah I've had them on a few months now and don't have any complaints. I'm glad I opted for the 265/70s since I'm stock right now. I have zero rubbing. Not sure if that's just General Grabbers AT2s or what, but they've been a great tire so far in that size.

Haven't done much to the rig lately. Did move the lightbar switch from the little square blank under the steering wheel to the left of the steering wheel. I grabbed a '07 GX switch panel which has the spare slot and put the led switch there.

Atlanta Lexus shows 2 parts with the same part number, 1 at $21 and 1 at $26, do you know which one, I don't see any differences

I know beginning with 2007 model they moved the center diff switch to that piece which resulted in 1 more switch location there, that could be the difference? When I get home I'll pop the actual piece off and see if there's a number on it.
