For the rear window, crawl in the back, take the cover off the rear door and start poking around. There are a number of things that can go wrong with the wiring/gear/whole darn thing.

remember, there is a safety switch on the driver side that the rear door has to activate when fully closed so then you can work the window. The wiring for that can be accessed behind the cargo area side access panel.

To get my window down, I took the rear door acccess panel off and hot wired the junction board straight to the battery. Got the window down, opened the tailgate and took out the safety switch. that was my issue. Also had the plastic gear break, so I replaced with the brass gear.

Figured out what was up with the tailgate window. Part of the track had bent and was pinching the rubber weatherstripping, preventing the window from moving. Bent everything straight, removed the old cracked and mostly useless rubber, and the window works again!

I cut the rest of the roof rack off today. It was welded to the gutter and the cross members were rusting and staining the roof. Once that was off I sprayed down the entire truck with the hose and washed all the grime off. Did a little more exploratory sanding and found more bondo and quite a bit of rust on the lower tailgate. I'm already planning out in my head how to tackle all these issues once I decide to really tear into the body. I've also got plans to put on new shock towers in the front soon as well to replace the broken drivers side as well as have a matching passenger.

It's been a long time since I posted an update, and I'm sad to say I have to get rid of the pig. :-(
I started tearing it down to mitigate rust last year. Removed the fenders and grille, stripped the interior, and started planning how to best replace the worst affected areas. Around this same time work started picking up a lot, and my free time became increasingly limited. I figured I'd get back to it eventually so the truck sat in a partially disassembled state in the garage.
Well this year my roommates decided we weren't going to renew the lease. Which would of been fine but my moving plans fell through, which means I have to get rid of a bunch of stuff including the pig... By Aug 1st.

I hate to see it go but I do not see myself being in a situation where I can work on it for quite some time, and I honestly could use a little extra right now. Truck is in the Seattle area and currently does not run due to it sitting for so long. It's probably more useful for parts right now, but someone could restore it with enough effort. Make me an offer as I need it gone by the end of the month.
