Another CSC member and myself has been testing these seat heaters for over a year. They have proved to be awesome and a great low cost option with an easy install for the DIY guy. I have adapted the included switch to a panel blank that snaps in to a factory hole for a seemless good looking installation. The power is available under the seat/console making wiring only a 2 wire hook up and all other wiring plugs together.

Thinking about carrying the setups on our website and looking for a couple beta testers to do a write on there install and get there feedback.

I did my install myself and at first I was uncomforable but a couple beers for inspiration and a pair of low cost hog ring pliers and the heaters were installed requiring only a 2 wire hookup.

You get everything for a factory looking install. Each heater has a High/low illuminated switch and power source avaiable is switch with the ignition.

Only 2 heaters are available at this price for Beta testing. $55.00 each cash & carry

Oh heck yeah Phil, I'm in!

(Not even as a beta tester I'll buy them)

Do I need anything else other than the hogring pliers? Also just got the seats re-skinned, I'm assuming it shouldn't matter.

Install was easy after I man'd up. Removed a few hog rings, slide the pads in, rehog ring, plug together, and wire in two wires.

I will PM you and get you signed up as a beta tester.

Beta tester are in place:clap: Thanks!

I'm the other tester who installed it last year. If you've ever driven a vehicle with heated seats on a cold morning, its pure pleasure. I don't even turn on the heater blower, just warm up through my back and bottom. Night and day for the back muscles being cold and tight vs loose and warm.

Its my number one low cost mod ever.

angled hog ring pliers work better than the straight variety - just saying

Claudia, you are correct. The angled hog ring pliers made redoing the 40 seats so much easier. I can't wait to add this feature.

On another note, this would be great in the Cobra since there is no heat. I may need to add this to my latest list of Cobra work.

Curious is there a reason these couldn't be used on other models? Our 04 4Runner has blank plugs in the center console for the switches. FJ62 has coin holders in the center console that could used.

On the 100 series when we parked outside they were nice on cool mornings here in the valley. Up north seat heaters are nice, just turn them on while letting the engine warm up.

Absolutely

This seems worthwhile just to get rid of those coin holder/crumb and dust holders.

Q-tips do a good job of cleaning the coin holder but still worthless as a rarely carry coins anymore. Besides no fast-food restaurants in the area. I have a feeling other markets got options we never got in the US that used those spaces for something other than coin holders.

I use to laugh at seat warmers until I started driving a car with them. It also has seat coolers, but they don't do much. Definitely something I will add to the cruiser and 4runner

Didnt know there was an angled option when I did mine. With that said I didnt any issues using straight for the few hog rings that needed removed and replaced.:meh:

Same here, I got mine from HF. One thing I found was using new hog rings saved a lot of headaches when swapping seats on the 4Runner.
