Dobinsons GS twin tube (yellow) shocks are tried and true, been around for a long time. If you are looking for something better we offer the IMS and MRR (reservoir with adjusters), both monotube design and 2.2" body diameter with 50mm pistons. Fully rebuildable and re-valveable.

Thanks for chiming in David, FYI I have your MRR's on my 60 and 75 and they transformed both vehicles. Fantastic product!

Do you happen to have the force/speed graphs for the KYB shocks? Also, what load zone they target their shocks for would be great as well so I can give you a good assessment on how well they will work for your application.

Also, folks should be aware that Bilstein shocks are typically a digressive shock versus a progressive shock with regards to damping. There are pros and cons to each approach but some do not like the ride aof a digressive shock, especially in off road applications.
If you’re asking me, that would be a no. Sorry.

Hi David. Can you let me know your thoughts on the 2.2 vs 2.6 IMS? Feel free to PM me a price for front, rear, and a steering stablizer.
