And I have a big list of things to do.

Both of my vehicles are down.

The 55 needs the brakes adjusted by a professional and new exhaust.
The oil pan gasket needs replaced and all the hoses have to be replaced. and gastank installed.

The 40 is looking a little better. The Aisan carb is almost back together. New manifold has been fitted. Linkage is getting worked out. I have to plumb a new fuel return line back to the gas tank.
The front spring bushings are shot and Kurt with Cruiser outfitters is sending me a new set along with some new shackles. I need to install the hose from the T-case to the Tranny. Install choke, vent, and warm pull cables.

I gotta show up at chucks in time to catch a ride to the cabin..........thats about it

although my 40 is running great and I have the itch to wheel her very bad; what do you guys think would that be a bad idea after I just spent the past couple of weeks repairing the damage from the last flop at Tellico??

Considering you will be riding with us and not on your own. I'd say take it for one last ride. I have never know is to heavily damage a cruiser under our wing when we went to Tellico.

I only have to drill and extract the sheered axle studs from my right rear and then put new in so I have 4wheel drive :)

Do it. It would be awesome to make this trip the farewell tour!!

you guys are like the little devil on my shoulder :grinpimp: ............ the smart thing to do would be leave at home nice and safe in the garge, but really when was the last time I did the smart thing

JP shouldnt bring his 40 anywhere near tellico, last time he had it looking and running good he rolled it on trail 1. No need to relive that. Marshall I'll get you those exhaust pics when I'm home to clemson this weekend. Also do you need an oil pan gasket I think I have one in my closet. You can have it if I do I'm trying to get rid of all those gasket that came in my 55.

1) If they get here in time, new OME spring in the front.
2) PC the CB mount.
3) Also if they get here in time, install 4 IPF's on the roof rack and the fuse box to power them and some other stuff.
4) Gotta change the shoes into the Swampers.
5) Take Cruiser to the Dealer for it's 10,000 mile service.
6) Find silly hat to bring and give to JP

Put in the new fan clutch
Check all the fluids
Load it up with gear
Hit the road

1.Put the front axle back together, including installing thirds member and all complete front axle rebuild parts
2. Install new Drivers side taillight from last trip offroad.
3. Install Fuel filter
4. Instal PCV valve
5. Install new o2 sensor
6. Install new airfilter
7. Make sure she is running well after above mentioned parts.
8. Go try out the new 4.88's and rear lockright on a few local trails :) :) :)
9. Hope I dont break anything/get more body damage while testing out the new goods.
10. Get packed and loaded up.
11. Get my friend Jennings over here so we can leave.
12. Possibly pick up some 35's in TN early on friday. :)

I think thats about it, not much to do, just gotta get out there and do it. Hope to have the axle back together by Monday or so.

40 is running! Worked my butt of Sat from 7 to 4:30 getting everything back together. I didn't realize what it actually took to go from a Weber carb back to a stock Aisan. That was a lot of work. So assuming I can get it tuned correctly I will be driving it to Tellico. Cannot wait.

My dad and I managed to get the sheered studs out of the rear right today. I will be getting parts and reassembling sometime this week. Should be good to go!
