I really need to meet some folks from the Rising Sun. We've started venturing out to explore Colorado in its snowy glory. As we're solo, we've been really conservative on where we go. South end of Boreas Pass near Como, CO. Sunny but 13 degrees out.
I saw this post on TW, I knew I’d seen this FJ in pics before lol.
I really like TW, it’s so much more than just tacoma talk lol.
Keep in mind that the profession of weather forecaster is one of the few jobs where you can be wrong most of the time, and still keep your job.

I saw that they were predicting 40 inches in Cheyenne. It could take a while to dig out from that.
DIA reported 19" a few hours ago and still coming down. More snow forecast for Tue+Wed.
Took advantage of the lack of traffic and went for a drive. Not sure when the next time I'll be able to drive city streets fully locked. So many smart people staying off the roads...

Where are the pictures of Denver under 3 feet of snow?
Highlands Ranch only recorded 15.6" of snow. Conifer, which is 30 miles up US285 in the front range got 36". I saw plenty of recovery efforts on the Colorado FJ Cruiser forum around the Loveland area (in between Denver and Ft. Collins.) Here's a few pics of when we wandered out in the blizzard. (Yar, NWS upgraded it to a blizzard late Sunday).
