Got a dusting yesterday morning. About a half inch this morning and some nice big flakes falling now.

Everything covered in snow and no wind. Good day to get rid of all the boxes and paper from Christmas.

Got a dusting here but is already melted.

Just started spitting snow here at my place. The temp dropped around 4° in about 15 minutes. The weather guessers say we are in for a cold snowy weekend. I hope they're right.

Feels like a snow run is in the near future!

Temps dropped like a rock yesterday evening. Snow started falling around 4:30. around 6:30 there was a lot of thunder and lightning. Way cool!

Now it is 1° and I am getting ready to head into the city to pick up my daughter. Wish me luck!

It was really cool see thunder and lightening last night, never experienced it during winter. Now the temps is -10 at my house and I got the wood stove cranking ;) . Looks like I got around 3"-5" of snow over night. I can see I 40 east/west bound traffic moving slowly.

Take your time, and good luck.. I know your daughter appreciates the ride home.
Up in Rio Rancho, near Hwy 528 and Hwy 550, we have a balmy 16 degrees , light snow. had thunder and lighting with a quick rain storm, last evening. Crazy wind last night
No wind now. Wood stove kept the house at 68 last night. Will drip the faucets tonight to prevent freezing.
No driving today, for us.

Snowing and blowing. 2° in Tijeras -4 at home. Sure am thankful for my LX and the Wildpeak tires. Made it to town and back without any problem. Lots of wrecks and cars stuck off the road, but the LX never missed a beat.

I did load enough supplies that if something were to happen we would be OK. I figured if we ended up stuck I could just make coffee and breakfast and wait for help.

Glad to hear that you’re home safely! I think I will just sit tight today. Saw 0.1 degrees so far, and maybe 4 - 6 inches of snow. Hard to say with the wind, but it’s still coming down lightly.

Caught the lightening on the door bell camera last night around 6:30. Never heard it in the house. When I went to bed there was no moisture. Rain, snow, nothing. It didn't start snowing until around 1am.

I have 2.75 inches snow this morning and it is currently 14° and dropping.

I might head out later this morning to see if we can find any stuck cars that need assistance.
I just tried to start the plow truck and it says "No way!" I'll be out running around in a little bit to offer help since I already have everything loaded.

We ended up snowshoeing at the crest then drove to Placitas around Sandia. No craziness to report.

Snowing, blowing, and cold this morning. I think this is the first time Jack has ever been disappointed that school is cancelled.
