We've got about 4.5" here in Placitas in the last 2 hours and projected to snow for the next 5😎

Have no idea how much snow has fallen. It has been coming down good for about 12 hours now, but the wind is way nasty and blows it away.

The snow from yesterday’s storm 🌨💙

That figures, I head to UT and y'all got rain and snow. Last year, I think it was, the house got 12" of snow or some such thing! I got into cell range, and my neighbor texted me a pic of the driveway shade sail collapsed on a car. Last night we get into cell range and same thing happened, AGAIN. But this time, one of the corner tore loose due to UV degradation and maybe some heavy winds.

Oye vey....

I am thinking now that it is June we might be done with the snow for a while. All the snow we got sure has made a pretty Spring though. Lots of wildflowers up this way.

I drove by my property near Frost and Mountain Valley a week ago and was surprised how green it was. The flower population wasn't quite as good as yours but it was still pretty nice.

Some folks got hail damage yesterday from the storm, Evan and I missed this one.

That makes me feel better about choosing a masonry roofing material and only one solatube skylight for the house.

Yep. I like steel roofing. We got a little bit of small pea sized hail yesterday with over an inch of rain. About a mile away at my dad's house the hail was bigger than a quarter.

I'm hoping for hail damages so that I can go to metal roofing. Mine will be used for water collecting so a metal roofing should work out well.

Here's what Jessica got at her place.

I'm glad we don't get hail like that on the city side very often. I've noticed the same thing regarding the wildflowers... I walk the dog up in the foothills often and noticed an incredible variety of wildflowers this spring. There were some areas where entire hillsides were bloomed out. This spring was a real treat.

Ouch! That had to cause damage. I know a lot of people that do water harvest and a metal roof is the way to go.

When I installed metal roofing in a past life there was a big hail storm in Edgewood. The insurance people didn't even look at roofs in a lot of areas. If they drove up and you had shingles they would end just agree to pay.
