Oh man, I got DENIED, DENIED my snowshoeing today . After spending close to 45min installing the rear tire chains at the house, I had to pull out a visitor's car out of the ditch. So, i turned around, headed home, de-chained and went into work.

Tomorrow it's GAME ON biotches.

No good deed goes unpunished . Good of you to help out those travelers. It will come back around I’m sure

The Crest highway is currently closed, so I'm sitting at the coffee shop waiting for pappy to join me before we go snowshoeing. I got denied at the highway by the DOT people and hour ago, even though I begged them to let me by since I have four tire chains..

I went to the Jemez last Monday during the snowstorm and had a blast. Just last night I got 10" at the house, which means Luka and I are going snowshoeing to Sandia this morning. I might be late for work today . The Landcruiser is down due to the front axle housing sitting in the garage so I'll have to chain up the 4runner at the house before heading up top.

I met two couples at the hot springs. One of them camped in a beautiful Sprinter 4x4 van, the other one showed up Mon morning in a Mitsu Delica. First couple is American and beep bopping around the SW for couple of months. Delica couple are from Latin or South America and they've been beep bopping between the Americas. I kept hearing of vehicle breakdowns, border crossings, and all that.

It's always a good time at the hot springs and I never know who I'll be meeting there. Luka will just sit in the water with me and soak. He's an interesting dog, to say the least.

I did make it to the airport that day, just left about 9 AM for a 1 PM flight to be safe. Had a relaxing lunch and left the trusty Hundy parked at the park and ride for 11 days.

The Crest hwy was closed down last night sometimes due to the ice rink like conditions . I passed by three abandoned vehicles on my way up this morning, and the white pickup truck fared the worst!

I’ve noticed people take their plates when they leave their vehicles so the other thieves don’t collect them and use them when committing crimes
