Primarily for my full-frontal nerdery. There are a wide variety of spindles used on the 7x Series throughout the range. Most are self-explanatory but it gets a bit weird when you get into the late model stuff that can have ABS or not and/or Dual Mode Auto Locking Hubs (DMALH). Lots of combos. Easy to sort when we know what the vehicle came with but what if you want to go from DMALH to AISIN hubs, drive flanges to DMALH, etc. We've helped many customers with this swap over the years (@Tapage was one of the first ABS DMALH we supplied parts to convert to AISIN hubs). So with that said, here are the spindles for your viewing pleasure.

The spindles designed for the DMALH are easy to spot as they have the two machined grooves in the tip, this corresponds to the inner plate of the DMALH
This applies to 43401-60091 (our part# FA60091OEM) and 43401-60110 (our part# FA60110OEM)

Can you include/Are you going to include the spindles for the Electronic Locking Hubs? I think the Toyota part is 43490-60030
We have lots of threads on the electronic locking hub topic, and a few how to pages as well, but this page could be the glue that holds them all together.

Oooh, I totally should have and I can. The 43490-60030 will have to be a used example (I've got a handful) as new is NLA. They are very different and use a different lock nut (as does the DMALH variants). I'll post some pics when I get a chance.

We've got 3+ ways to convert to manual hubs here in stock. New faces, adapters and complete replacement parts.
 
Thank you, Kurt. I will eventually be converting some 70 series axles over from drive flanges… I’ll call when I’m ready to actually do it!
 
The locations of the shoulders in between the bearings doesn't make a difference, just a difference you'll see along supercessions as well as different manufactures.

So long as all the critical spots are the same (which it appears they are), you're golden

PS, yours were hammered and definitely needed to be replaced :D

What about the difference in where the outer bearings sit? To me that seems to be quite a difference 🤷‍♂️

I guess I'm not seeing the difference you're referring to?

There is NOT a shoulder under where your outer bearing was running, that is wear on your old one.

The shoulder below (inboard) of the outer bearing is in a different spot, it's meaningless as it will occupy the space between the bearings and has zero impact on well, anything.

The only bearing shoulder is the bottom against the surface the seal surface for the inside face of then inner bearing. The outer is located by the wheel hub itself and there can be variance. I'm 100% confident it will install and function 100% the way it's suppose to.
 
Did you look at the tape measure pictures? If I understand you you’re saying that where the outer bearing sits doesn’t really matter as the hub hold those in the proper position?

Yes, I'm looking at the tape measure, but it means absolutely nothing because that is obviously not where your outer bearing has been riding for decades.

Look at where the outer bearing will actually rides when it is inside of the wheel hub (red arrow below) Much higher than when you just drop it on.

And the new spindle has MORE range for the outer bearing to ride on the spindle, again which is ONLY dictated by the wheel hub. Install it.
