If your LX470’s interior is looking tired, it’s time for an upgrade! We know how hard it is to find quality seat covers that fit like factory originals. That’s why at Ridies, we design OEM Replacement leather seat covers that replace your worn-out upholstery. No slip-ons, no cheap materials—just high-quality leather built to last.

Need inspiration? Check out our Photos Section for some of our best Lexus LX470 seat transformations! Have questions about fit or installation? Drop them here!

Can confirm Ridies will completely ghost you when it comes to warranty. Take home message is perforated does not hold up and Ridies customer service is total garbage.

I was doing some more Googling and found a detailed record of the same type of crappy experience on a Corvette forum.

Based on the snide emails I got from Ridies and the other evidence of warranty issues, I'm going to pony up $700 for a pair of leather (seating surface) / vinyl (everywhere else) seat covers from LeatherSeats.com. They are made in the USA and the company has great reviews and a 3-year warranty. I got a set of samples from them and they also have a perfect match, although the actual leather itself didn't appear much different than the Ridies leather. Perhaps the worksmanship is better.

Supporting vendors are allowed to advertise. But a good vendor would at least follow up on threads like this. With near universal dissatisfaction, it would behoove @Ridies to get back in this thread and address the concerns.

I think near universal dissatisfaction is an overstatement. A lot of us have them, a few have had issues and they are generally unresponsive. As long as you know that going in, and do a good inspection of the covers as soon as you receive them so you can dispute the charge with the credit card company, then you’ll likely be OK.

The covers are very comfortable and good quality all leather. Mine see high use and a lot of that in the back country. Two years and 30k miles. The finish is wearing in a few areas where I probably pivot the most. There is a bit of finish cracking where I had the leather perforated. The stitching is not showing any signs of wear and it’s as comfortable as a nice recliner.

You can pay 1/3 less and get poor quality leather/vinyl, or you can pay 50%+ more to get better customer service, and maybe a better finish.

I personally avoid doing business with companies that have multiple credible reports of dishonest business behavior that is quite literally targeted at fellow forum members. After all, any money they make just enables their business model to be perpetuated, and more people to be taken advantage of.

Glad yours are working out, however. And I'm glad I gave my money to someone else.
