New member here. Been lurking for about a year but finally have a question I can't find an answer too when searching.
But first the important thing, I've been driving a 2000 Lexus LX470, golden pearl for about 1 year. Exterior and interior needs some TLC but the engine is strong. Just hit 290,000 miles.
First thing I did before I drove it, per the recommendation of this forum, was change the heater Ts. They literally crumbled in my hand when removing! Did some other routine maintenance per the recommendation here like fuel filter, clean throttle body and MAP etc.
Couple weeks ago I deleted the AHC and installed Ironman coils, shocks and torsion bar. Also put in Superpro rear sway bar and Trail Taylor entered sway bar links for front and rear. Drives amazing now. Anyone interested in the AHC pump or other parts? They are still on my LX but I will remove and sell. Front shocks I had to cut the top but the rear shocks are intact.
Next on my list (in a couple weeks) is to replace steering rack bushings.
Now for my question,
I need seat covers asap for my rear seats. Leather is worn out and my 3 kids are destroying it faster. I am not really interested in replacing the leather, I would rather have some sort of tough cloth (3 young kids). There doesn't seem to be any direct fit LX470 middle seat covers.
It seems some users on this thread have had escape gear seat covers fit for the LX470. So, I am open to those.
What about Marathon Covercraft seat covers? I have had Marathon seat covers in my Jeep YJ years ago and really liked them. I see they make a specific fit for the front LX470 but will the LC100 middle seat cover fit the LX470 middle seat? Does anyone have experience with this?
