BIOR Slider Install.

Overall I am happy with the build quality and finish on these. Mounted up pretty easy. Not so happy with how they contact the AHC lines but for off the shelf bolt on units I guess there is no way around it. I used 1/4" fuel line to protect the AHC line where they contact the sliders. I have to remove a few of the AHC line holders and also some of the connectors used to secure some wiring on top of the frame. Sorry for the crappy cell pictures of lines.

Again good quality and finish on these. Everything lined up well and was easy to install. One thing I am planning on doing is replacing the stock bolts with button heads.

Tires Tires Tires.

Lots of questions on the tires. I took some pictures to show clearance on the UCAs and in the rear wheel well. The only place I rubbed was the front fender well but I cut the plastic and have had no problems. I have 2 offroad trips planned next month so I will update after them.

hey thanks for the write up; a few questions one with the sliders any issues on attachment points? did everything line up did you have slack in the AHC lines to move them? also with the new skid plates I have lots of rust etc with my factory plates and want to switch them out; did all those new plates line up etc and how about bolts used? did the plates come with bolts or what size did you have to buy??

@redman333: I did not try to drive with it on L. May work in a straight line but looks like it would rub when turning.

The only attachment issue I had was with the stock plastic splash guard, the U bolts used to mount the sliders were in contact with it. I had to take out the 2 bolts in the rear off in order to get the front leg/bolt of the slider on. Since I was putting on skids this was not an issue for me. Getting the big U bolts over the frame was a bit of a pain but overall not that bad.

I had to unbolt the AHC holders and remove some wiring clips on top of the frame. The wires/wiring clips were keeping me from moving the AHC lines fully out of the way. While there is some slack in the lines I did have to use some force to move them around, mostly to get the U bolts on.

For the skids I too had a lot of rust on my front skid. The BIOR skids lined up perfectly with the factory holes. You have to reuse your bolts for the front and t-case skids. I ended up breaking off 1 bolt when removing the stock t-case guard, all the others came out okay and relatively clean. New bolts are supplied to attach middle plate to the front and t-case. I don't like how the stock bolt heads stick out so much so I am going to replace them with button heads this weekend. One note unless you specify it to Mike (BIOR) you will get a front skid that is made to be used with a diff drop. I don't have one and I quickly realized something was off when trying to install the front skid. Mike sent me out spacers and everything worked out.

cool yes please post some more pics what do you mean by button up bolts? and are these able to be re tightened etc? please post bolts or explain LOL I am really reluctant to re use my bolts cause I would think they are rusty also the only one that gets use is when I change my oil

if you have time take more pics of the AHC lines etc as for your tires you don't have a regular front bumper you think the tires would rub there? I know its just a guess but any info or opinion is appreciated. thanks again

hello hey forgot to ask this; did you think about doing anything with the running board lights??? I was looking for a set of those rock light things my friend has on his jeep and wanted to just sadder them to the current light so that they come on when hitting unlock button.

@r3run33 Funny you should ask, I pulled my stock lights from my running boards the other day. I am trying to fit them onto/around my sliders. I need some more space between the body and sliders, I am putting in a 1/2" BL hopefully that will be enough. If I can't get them to work I will go with some LED strip lights.

Installed some 80 series rear springs and re-adjusted my torsion bars. I also did a mild AHC sensor lift (0.5") hoping to accommodate the stiffer springs a bit. Not real happy with the results, my AHC pressure is down but the springs are stiff. I am going to see what it feels like completely loaded but will probably order 30mm spacers so I can go back to the AHC springs. Here are some numbers
