I do it all the time... and cannot think of a good reason why it would be a problem, assuming the installation has no major flaws.

I have an on board system that turns every day food into methane gas. Works like a charm.

No, but of course mine is factory installed .

I transfer while moving everytime. My pump is slow and it takes about 10 minutes. I used George's instructions with Rons help and it's been working great.

With the diesels there is no transfer.They are two seperate tanks and you can can pick which one to use. For some reason the petrols run a transfer pump and the diesels run independant.
