1983 Fj60 - 1000 Obo

I posted this awhile back for $3000 and didn't get much interest. Thought the change in price might make it more appealing.
This probably isn't the best option out there for someone to fix up for a daily driver, but if you're looking for something to put new bumpers, sliders, etc. on this would probably make a good starting point.

Swapped the engine and tranny a few months back. has about 60k on a rebuilt 2f. Odometer reads a bit over 218k. this vehicle has gotten a lot of attention, but still needs a bit more to pass the colorado emissions test (high HC and CO). I have a new cat for it but haven't installed it yet.
Body has rust in the usual spots, around the wheel wells, on the tail gate and below the doors. headliner is rough, bumpers are ready to be upgraded and the body has a few small dents.

This truck is in denver.

let me know if you'd like more info.

REASON FOR SELLING:

My girlfriend and I were on our vacation from Vancouver, BC to Baja Mexico. About 2 days into our 1 month vacation we broke down in Medford OR, on our way down to Mexico. We decided to leave the vehicle in storage and continue with our trip rather than let it ruin a trip we had planned for so long.

Now I'm trying to pick up the pieces after our trip, and I have decided to try and sell the 'Cruiser as is. At the time I'm writing this I don't really know what's wrong with her, she's a NON-RUNNER and I guess that it is something BIG like a bottom end bearing or a con-rod or something in the lower half of the engine. I had just recently done a great deal of maintenance to the head (ground valves + seats, new guides, new valve seals, decked the head, re-furbished injectors) so I think improving the top half of the engine made the bottom half work too hard and something gave... she still turns over, and with a great deal of cranking she'll still run, but she really loud with a pronounced clack-clack-clack noise that will make you want to grind your teeth.

My options:

1) Sell the Cruiser as is for "what I can get for her" in Medford, Oregon, or Vancouver BC [this is my prefered option. If you have a rusty cuiser you're restoring, buy mine and put your engine in it!]

2) Replace the engine and try and sell it for 10,000$

3) Part out an amazing truck (it'd take forever, but I could make $$$)

(why so high? Well you got to check it out, there is alot of truck there!)

No.

I cleaned my Garage up so now it is not such a burden. It sat for a couple months and it started right up and I drove it around a bit to get it out of the garage so I could clean. Then when it was sitting out at the curb it looked so damned cool I changed my mind.

Somebody should have jumped during my weakness.

I am probably gonna dump 10 grand into it then get weak again and try to sell it for $3500 again. Keep your eyes peeled.

You'd think with all the time you spent writing "invisible" key words, you could spend a little time actually describing the vehicle
Also some pics would help, not the ones on craigslist, as they don't look very good.
