1979 FJ40 for sale in Eastern PA $1250

Selling a rusty 1979 FJ40 in eastern PA. hardly a body panel that doesn't have some rust. Floors and tub are bad, rear doors missing. Frame cracked and broken in front of driver side rear wheel. That's the bad news actually the windshield frame looks good. Good news is it is an unmolested truck with 60K miles on it. I bought it from the seconnd owner who used it at his hunting camp, has a clear PA title (last transferred in 1984!!!). Engine, transmission and transfer case work great, of course has disc brakes and split transfer case. Engine compartment intact except for some missing and/or disconnected smog junk. Looks like the original starter and alternator, wiring harness uncut. Interior unmolested too- seats intact, still has both jump seats in the back, rollbar with padding, seat and shoulder belts there as is console. Dash unmolested with original radio, upper dash pad extremely bnice other dash pads are good, too. Gauges and all seem to work fine as do all lights, heater fan, and horn. Wipers work too on both speeds. Price of $1250 is firm. Truck is brown with what look like dealer applied stripes. Brakes work fine is currently riding on fair tires on aftermarket wheels. Am I the only one confused?

The pictures above of the light colored 25 are NOT pictures of the vehicle that Joel is selling. His is dark green (or that's what it looks like on my monitor), and he'll send a batch of pictures to anyone who emails him about it.

BTW, it sounds like a good deal. It's a project, but not all that much to make it roadworthy.

will condsider partial trade for rough fj40 of f/bj 60 or even the beloved pigs
