Ok, I was hoping to get a feel for the market value of these things.

$6500 for cruiser with the V8. (Includes the original 2F engine described above.) This cruiser came from the deep south and with the original frame and body as sound as it is on this For around another $1500 + labor, this should be a 10 to 12k cruiser after paint.

$2000 for running 79 that needs a tub. (I know it may seem high but won't part with something that will part out for $3000+. Actually don't want to see this one go that route.)

Any constructive comments about the best time to sell these during a project are also welcome. One thing on that note, since it's the nature of most people these days to feel the urge to criticize in hopes of getting something for nothing, don't just criticize unless you have a 79 frame off, rhino lined, great original body, V8 converted with TBI etc that you're willing to sell for 6k. If you do, be ready for a PM because if you have one in as good of shape and you'd sell for less than 6,500k you may just get a pm. :)

Thanks!

Sorry about that, I'm located just outside Charlotte, NC.

Also, in regards to pix, both of these are cramped in my small shop. Kind of messy at the moment with me trying to find a couple of parts to get the fuel tank back in and trying to figure out the gm wiring harness.. Would have had the motor mounted but ran into a snag trying to get the fuel tank remounted. Missing left strap and can't find the fuel filler tube so ordered it today. Anybody interested, please feel free to email me. If you require specific pics, please let me know.

I can get pix now but am waiting to get everything mounted and moving it outside so I can get good pix of all angles at a proper distance so it doesn't look like anything is trying to be hidden. Right now i can't get good shots of the passenger side as it's close to a wall.

Thanks!

All of the factory gages including altimeter and tilt gages
I replaced the front brake calipers, brake pads front and rear, rear brake slave cylinders, some of the brake lines, e-brake cable and the catalytic converter about 3,000 miles ago. It needs a muffler. The frame has the typical little surface rust in spots, no holes or rot of any kind. Its in over all excellent condition. The truck is located in Camp Hill(Harrisburg), PA but it will be in Felton, PA this weekend.

Find on yet? What part of VA are you in? I am close to charlottesville and have a 75 I am selling. Has a rebuilt 2F with approx 40K miles. previous owner shortened rear of roof to make it a pickup, so there is some floor rot. However, frame is solid. It does not have a starter. I am trying to come up with a freebie now. I am asking $750 for it. Sorry, but no pics until I get digicam back on saturday! Let me know if you are interested!

FS: 1998 Suburban LT 3500 4x4 Parts Car CHEAP!!

PICS ADDED!!!!
Hey guys, I am putting up for sale my 98 Chevy Suburban LT 4x4 3/4 ton truck. This truck runs and drives, the only thing it doesnt have a title, when I had this truck with the bank, I paid off the lien on the truck, but the bank never sent me a title nor lien release. They never even showed that I paid it off and never transferred title over to my name. Still in banks name. This all happened around the time when this particular bank when out of business. So I have been stuck with this truck in my driveway for the past 3-4 years. And after all this time, it seems like I am never going to get a title, so I am just going to sell it. I need the money to pay off some bills. It hasnt been driven or anything. But I do know that it runs great.4x4 engages awesome. I am only selling it as a parts truck. Truck has 135000 miles on it. It has the 454 chevy Vortex engine in it. Comes with everything except the interior seating, well I still have them but they are not in the best shape and if you want them you can have them.

Price $4800 obo. email me if you have any questions at fdiaz6@msn.com or call me at 407-451-8022.

Agreed; I suck. Sorry. That's a shame; you could have taken it for a test ride.

No lockers. Cd changer, sunroof. I did pull out the handicapped driver foot rest though. No lie; this rig has not been bruised. It does appear to have some black overspay on the rear end. It came off pretty easy; might be a good bartering chip. The guy in charge of the auction is pretty firm at 15K but $$ talks. We also have a lexus car donated by the same couple. I will be out of town for a couple of days; so mail me Thursday at Josh.Jackson@tetonscience.org and I WILL send you pictures.

Is this guy way off at 15K or is that a good deal? Any insight would be great. Thanks

I'll try to get you some pictures this weekend. I am gone out of the house about 20 hours a day, so it will be difficult to send any before then.

I'm interested in the engine... how firm is the seller on his asking price? If there is any flexablity I'd love to come up and have a look at it. PM me if it's still available. Thanks.
