Got ya covered in Texas, 1991 in VERY good condition.

e.mail me at bradtown62@yahoo.com if interested.

Dont have the service history on the LC it was owned by a doctor here in San Angelo. I've personally known him for about 10 years, very meticulous about his belongings (reason I bought it). He was in the process of giving it to his daughter when she got pregnant, that combined with the fact shes like 4'10" was having a very hard time getting in and out much less trying to get a baby in it. So I bought it from them several months ago. Had a gentleman here take it to the Toyota dealership and everything checks out. It does need the A/C recharged, other than that its ready to roll. I haven't found anything wrong withit, body is perfect best I can tell. I drive a '04 Z71 and haven't put over a couple of hundred miles on the LC.

So really, you're looking for 99-02, since no 98s had rear air (and it was an option in 99).

4 life,

Yes it is on the west coast, but have a cruiserhead check it out for you. Then add shipping, wouldn't it still be a very good deal. I reside in TN and bought one is Chicago. Cruisers are hard to find locally unless you live out west.

2 79 FJ 40's

Posted this in the wrong forum. Copied from parts.

Hello,

I have two 79 FJ 40's for sale.

1) Started frame off restore, frame has been cleaned and painted. Body has been rhino lined. Top is in good shape. Just bought a 94 350 TBI engine, with wiring harness and ECM. Saginaw power steering conversion has been completed. Also has been prepped for the V8 Conversion. 350 has been mated to the transmission with an Advanced Adapter bell housing. Just mounted a new slave cylinder. Body is in great shape for the most part. Hood has pin holes along the front. There is a place in the rear sill about the size of a nickel. (Like something tore the hole in it.) Rockers are ready for running boards. Again, hard top is in good shape. Ambulance doors are rusted on the bottom. Plan on ordering skins to fix them. Front doors were stolen off of this vehicle.

I also have the 2F engine that came out of this FJ that would be included at the right price. It contains most everthing except the previous owner robbed the head off of it but I do had the valve cover and intake manifold.

$6000 in parts so far, (Not including time investment.)

2) This one is all original and runs. However, needs a tub put to the firewall needs replacing. You could get by with a 1/2 tub if you run across a tranny/seat hump. Fenders also need replacing

This one also has a top with minor rust around the bottom edges. Both sets of doors but will need seat humps.

Engine, transmission, t-case, axles, dash, front window frame, Body frame, steering, Top, Doors etc would part out over 3k. (Not expecting that much but just making a point.)

Anybody interested I will be glad to get you any pix you'd like. The first I'm in the process of getting the fuel tank mounted and the 350 mounted and the TBI working.

Also, if you are trying to get something for nothing, no offense but move on. I'm not in a bind for money. I just got into a hobby of working on these FJ's and have thought about trying to make some money off of it.) Being new to it, I'm curious as to where there's any money in getting projects off the ground and selling them at a certain point or it's better to just go ahead and do them turn key. (Not trying to make a killing just a little something for my time.)

The first one, as I mention there is 6k in this vehicle and it would take some doing to get one that had as good of body and frame to the point it's for 6k.

The second one if you want pix, I've started taking the tub off and but it will still run as is. (Put a tool box to sit on and took it 4x4 out back the other day. :) Also, I'd prefer to sell this one to somebody who is interested in rebuilding it instead of parting it out. (I hate to see these FJ's parted out.)

If interested make me an offer. And keep in mind I'm not taking a loss on these so if you're thinking about offering something less than what I've got in them, the answer up front is NO.

If you have more questions, my email is kkfrost@hotmail.com and I'll be glad to call you and answer any questions.

I'll keep working so the cost may go up as I invest on the restoration.

Thanks.
