wow, got to say what i have seen here is amazing! Bob you're a genius!

I have a piggy that i'm starting to do up and for the most part is in pretty good condition..... except for the roof. It's shagged. Thegutter is quite good but where it arches up from the gutter is stuffed, with the rear being the worst. Would you be able to make up a panel that goes from the gutter up the the "sharp" curve for the full width of the rear? I haven't got pics of the rear, but here is the left side to let you know what i'm dealing with. Also, would be willing to make up say a 12" section of the lower sill? just the outer part?

I think our issues with the driver corners is related to the routing of exhaust out that corner. The rest of my Pig is pretty much rust free. I've had several Pigs over the years and have always wondered why they seem to rust more on the driver side rear corner (excluding the drip rail issues for beach rigs). Made no sense when you think that is usually the 'crown' side of the road and should be drier. When I've had a chance to look at trucks with exhaust side routed (front of the rear axle) they seem to survive with less corner issues.

Thanks for the scrap piece Bob - your way way way more talented with the metal than I am - but I guess I'll get a little more experience.,

Thanks again Bob for the support you give our little community.

Bob you can do it, If you need input let me know. On another note going to start on LIPSTICK ON A PIG. So going to be busy with her. Any needs let me know.

Thanks Bob.

Bob,
Funds heading your way this morning. Please let me know if all goes well. First time with paypal.
Thanks Tony Kunch

I believe the primary culprit with the DS rear quarter rusting is the gasket for the fuel fill neck failing. PS side only has a penetration for the rear wiring harness. The fuel neck gasket in NLA. I've tried the 62 gasket and it's not a usable replacement. This would be great project to reproduce.
