Wow! Incredible looking!
I can't believe you cut that orange Piggy! What year is it? Looks nice and clean! Where did you find it?
Those are going to be awesome if they have all the provision built in (back-up lights, reflectors, 1/4 vents and gas fill)
Great job!
PS: my quarters are good, it is my neighbor "Piggy Love" that needs them.

Pablo, its a 73. and I cant believe I cut it up either, it wasnt in bad shape. It is the best way to develop the parts though. North Country Landcruisers. They will have all the provisions except the bump out for the reflector and will include the inner panel.

Thanks Bob.

door and kick panels.

Made up a few replacements today. Will be covered with foam and Marine grade vynal in the future.

Thanks Bob.:)

Bob,

Now that's something, I'm going to need. How are the kick panels planned to be mounted.

Ron the kickpanels from the factory are mounted with self tapping trim head screws. I was going to mount the same way. The door panels use all factory mounting locations. Let me know.

Thanks Bob.

Bob,

What's your thoughts, on fastening the foam and vinyl. I debated on just leaving the Alum. alone, just powder coat it.. I'm a long way off, before I take on the interior. Looks like quality work, as always.

Ron, 3m makes contact cement in a spray can that would be excellent for the foam and vynal. I am also a long way off. But when I get an idea in my head I have to move on it.

Thanks Bob.

bare or even painted/coated metals will be HOT in summatime.....on your knee/ elbow. I have black ABS on mine right now, and it's not as hot as the metal, but still think the vinyl or other material would be more comfy, less noisey. IMHO.
