Any progress with the rear panels? What year is your piggy? Finally got mine 10-15 min away.

Kid, mine is a 73. The panel is punched it needs to be formed. I am not putting in any tail-light or reverse light features, so they can be used on all years.

Man that's alot of work!. Good job, Bob. Please explain why you cut out for the heater. Have you decided what you're going to coat the floor with. I really am likeing the Zero Rust and the Lizard Skin. Seals the rust and really makes the metal quiet.

Ron, I cut out for the heater so it looks factory its not necessary. I am going to coat the floor with DUPLICOLOR bedliner both sides. Then with sound mat. And then with Marine grade carpet, so sound wont be an issue. I am also going to use Marine grade vynal on the headliner and door panels. I would use the Lizard skin but its expensive. Your PIG is looking awesome, wish I had the garage and rotiissere I would never be in the house.

I bought my first pig (notice how I said my first probably more to follow) on Saturday and was somewhat hesitant because of the rust although I've seen much worse. After seeing this thread I am fired up!!!!!!!!!!!!! Can't wait to send some cash your way for these phenomenal parts! I just have to figure out what the parts are called so I order the correct stuff. Forgive my ignorance I'm/was a 40 owner- gave the 40 to the wife...

I know I need both rear body mounts do you have pics of those? I've combed the thread not sure if I missed them?
