You are forever dropping names and dates. 1 wouldnt have to do much to look clever standing next to you. Your talking about "us" who is "us". I hope your not representing most of OZ geeeez. You act and think you know everything. You didnt even know caster till a few months ago - since 2002 pffft. Thought you would have learnt something by now. Chris is in real trouble if he starts listening to you. lol

I guess he has already stated he got into it listening to me, before he even had an 80, if you had bothered to read the thread properly, the problems came after that, when some Aussie told him what he should use was the real good shizz. . . .

So..

is that more trouble than he got into listening to you? or less?

after he specified what he wanted, and they weren't it ?

Before you disappeared for a bit from here, while its transpired, or after that bit ?

Does that mean he will need to start a 24 page 8000 view thread, if it means more issues than you dropped him in ?

Im not sure how the English language works on your planet :princess: but there must be a loose connection... when I say "we" that doesn't mean Australia, or the eastern seaboard, or everyone on here, it means " we" here, at Auto-Craft. . . .

Lets get back to normal programming, the forum has a PM section if you have anything to add, no need to play it out here.

Ha ha, before you start clanging your pots and pans. I haven't had any input to this build. Chris decided to go his own way. "Look at the monkey".

When your being as pedantic

I highly resemble that statement. :flipoff2:

Anything worth doing is worth doing right and already thinking about swapping sides with the rear panhard and a Camburg rear, whatever you call it.:flipoff2: (joking)

Here is Whiteline's sway bar conversion chart....

Help me with an assumption founded in no more than Google education.

Considering they're claim adjustable for the 80, would it be safe to assume that the varying bar lengths from either side of the pumpkin bend are still the same rate?

I know how the changing the arm length affects rate (can't see how possible without distorting a link on the 80) but unsure how the bend in the bar affects overall rate and this would lend to the assumption it does t at all.

I'm only curious because I'm unsure if the 43" between the arm distance should be used to calculate, or the 44.25" OAL of the bar bends and all.

"Look at the monkey".

I ain't no monkey, bitch.

I'm a lowland gorilla. Bahahahaha.

One thing we can all three agree on, more so right now, than ever.

There's a huge difference between the OE 80s and the overall build styles from Australia to US.

One thing I believe I'll be able to offer, as a result of my experience, the data compiled here and elsewhere, is coil height suggestions for 4" and 5" lifts without rake (stinkbug) should someone else want to use the Suspension Stuff Flexy Coils.

After I get the Radflo's on, I may be singing praises, plus I'll have two extra coils for folks to play around with.

WIN-WIN.

I just bought a truck for myself again to do a v8 on. Would love to do a SC but have to find one.

I have one laying around, working out what to do with it....

Searching for 4.7's LOL.

Will save you some $, you can just drive mine :grinpimp:

Ha ha, before you start clanging your pots and pans. I haven't had any input to this build. Chris decided to go his own way. "Look at the monkey".

So he didnt get the coils he has on your say so, is that what your saying?

Im sure Chris will be able to clear that up :princess:

You assume way to much. Mostly that your right lol. The coils are between chris and shane. Never met anyone more full of hot air than yourself. Isn't that pic from the charity trip you went on where you tried to rip them off? Never paid and kept insisting your boss would pay for it? Lol

This thread is going nowhere. I'm out.

Oh no, I didn't talk you out of building it. I said:

- You should pull your built, low geared axles out of your LX450, put them under your 55.
- Put stock or 4.56/4.88 e-locker axles under your 80
- Send your springs back, get a 2.5" lift for your LX450
- Put a turbo on your 1FZ-FE
- Let your LX be a comfy cruiser that can cover lots of distance and still wheel, 80% of the things most people do, like it was supposed to be.

- build your 55 into your crazy wheeler
- 3/4 link coil overs
- body mods since you will probably find some rust anyways
- Let the 55 be ugly and a wheeler like it is supposed to be :)

Sign me up.

You think you can get a 1FZ and the 8" front axle swapped over to a Pig?

Just bought one and one of the two notable Pig to 80 converts talked me out of building.

So he didnt get the coils he has on your say so, is that what your saying?

He did not.

The SE arms and coils were purchased and paid for before Mark even joined Mud.

Regardless, I take responsibility for any acquisitions, be it win or fail.

I'm not into male urolagnia so refuse getting between the two of y'all, or MJ80, either.

So you werent involved at all then by PM or email, during any of the process you are saying?

As for the rest, im not quite sure which pic, or charity event your alluding to, or even how Im responsible for my previous employer.

We have been involved in many charity events over the years, both for my previous employer, where we were trip leaders for www.drive4life.com.au afew times, as well as running a outback trip every year for Www.anamcarahouse.com.au an end of life and respite care facility thats free, raising over $30,000 per year for them, and we also have collected thousands for the royal flying doctors over many trips in the
Past.

We also support daffodil day, with the anti cancer council, and even rebuilt an 80 series for a family last year, completely, in a weekend, with the help of sponsors, when they had a run of bad luck.

So if your trying to dirty the waters on what I do :princess: then you better be able to step up on that, because you have just sunk to a new low, while contributing nothing to the thread, other than dribble and shoot down those you feel threatened by.

I challenge you, for once in your life, to post / contribute something worth reading, or do something positive, and say nothing. . . . . .

She still will be.

The FJC is the DD, for now.

The LX shall continue evolving, but with a heavy wheeling emphasis.

The Pig.....I'm uncertain of it's future. If the 1FZ and axles from the LX become available, that's where they'll go, but that may be far enough into the future to really be an irrelevant discussion, if etched in proverbial stone.

The beauty of it all is this.

It's necessary, it helps maintain sanity, and I love it.

Oh, and since its Saturday night.

"Hi, my name's Delancy and I'm a build-a-holic"

(Crowd replies....including scottryana)

"Hi, Delancy....."

Bahahahaha.

So you werent involved at all with the coils then you are saying?

I looked and the first interaction I can recall or substantiate is directly after I posted pics of the arms and coils, straight of DHLs truck.

Again, not that it'd matter.

I have never placed the responsibility of a bad purchase on anyone other than myself, unless I was totally screwed.

In this event, as I think it's been eluded to in several other threads, there's a big difference between AUS 80s and US 80s, so I can see more why these issues arose.

Now, I'm going to go start a thread on how to swap a US rear panhard to the DS. Bahahahaha.

Y'all lighten up!

This thread is train wreck and doubt you'll find resolution in it; IMHO. I would close it. It won't be deleted so the info would remain. You obliviously have been talking to the big players in the game. I would take that communication to a personal level via email and other comm. Again that's just my opinion. Otherwise you're just being an attention whore.

Actually, it already has been.

IMHO. I would close it. It won't be deleted so the info would remain.

Will have info add in a few days when then new coil arrives, but I'm sure Nay or whomever is logged on could be invited to pass judgement on the worthiness of it's continuation.

I haven't talked to anyone outside of this forum, so have no clue to what your alluding to. I sure as hell don't know who the "big players in the game" are.

I have no part in the dispute unfolding.

Take it up with them.

Otherwise you're just being an attention whore.

Not that you'd give a s***, but I kind of take offense to that statement.

Poll a mod and have it deleted, I quite frankly don't give two s***s. The last thing I care to do is draw yours, or anyone else's attention, from the more important 80 Series Tech topics of the hour, especially for self gratification or whatever attention whoring benefits there may be from participating in an ongoing online forum discussion.

Edited:

For the record, autocraft and I have minimal history on FJCF. Not that it matters, nor should that be a defensible crime.
