Haha... the guys from toyota were impressed all right... At my lack of driving ability which equated to rolling my rig and JP's ghetto-fabulous mechanics for his 40... I love what David D. reminded me of, Tim the Toyota driver "so no gas, and no electrical... how does this thing run?" someone else, "Magic!"

Looks like its time for a roll bar and a paki soft top! Glad your ok....as for JP. I noticed none of the pictures of him wrenching showed his feet!

Yea, the next two items on my agenda are a Metaltech cage and power steering. I've got a bikini top at home, and since it's getting close to summer time it was time for the top to come off anyways...

Any body got suggestions for PS conversions??

Marshall just did a pretty slick one on his 40. There should be a thread in the 40 tech section about the job he did.

Saginaw seems to be one of the best.

EDIT: Found the link.

and I just happen to have a saginaw pump and box :grinpimp:, seriously if you decide to PS, I got what you need for cheap

I'll trade you a fuel pump for a saginaw pump and box :grinpimp:

seriously though, I'm interested. it'll be a while before I have the $ for it though... i think i have like $17 in my bank account right now... But I've got a good job at home for the summer. We'll definitely talk more about this.

I'm doing a 60/62 conversion on the pig. Its supposed to be easier since you use yota parts and stuff. Saginaw just gives more turning power.

Good stuff guys. Sounds like another great upsate cruisers event!
