I have been contatced by the Toyota FJC Trail Team. They want to know if we are interested in a trail ride this weekend IN THE FJC.

Please post your responses here and I will ask JP to coordinate IF we have enough participants.

By the way, they apologized for dropping in on us so soon.

Man, yest another reason I need to miss the wedding I have to go to. Urgggh. Wife wont let me out of it though. Take tons of pics!

Alex how bout some more details like where, time, what day that sort of thing. I'd like to go out and see it in action and maybe bring the pig.

I second Richard's suggestion for more info... I can probably swing anything close to greenville for a day trip... but more info would be very helpful...

Mustard Grounds is nice but I want to see it wheel I can see it drive on a gravel rd anywhere. Lets take it to Mt. Estates.

Not that I will be able to go but there is no way a wagon could make it through the entrance without body damage. I don't even think the pig could make it through that without being dragged through. But a shovel might make all the difference.

it is funny you say that marshall, because I watched at landrover LR3 go right through it without damage, well maybe one little scratch :grinpimp:

the FJ guys might have something in mind already, who knows........ we need to get some more info from el presidente

but I do agree with Richard, you could drive my girlfriends saturn through most of the Muster grounds, you really don't even need 4-wheel drive there .....

lets take them to Jocasse :D

Thats funny since I watched that rover do it just fine with 1 tiny scratch all the way to the power lines and my pig has done it before with no damage. But theres no way the FJC could do it with its shorter and wider wheelbase and better stability. (note the sarcasm)

Your call

Do not take the Toyota people where you are trespassing.
At least tell them they are trespassing and let them decide.
Geez....
ME is not open to the public. PERIOD. I know outlaw wheelers
still go there. I will not.
I'm not going this weekend anyway so I guess it isn't my business.
Sorry for the suggestion of MG. I was arranging this as an
area the club could maintain, but given the responses
I'll let that die.
Ya'll have fun and go with my best wishes for a safe and fun trip. :grinpimp:
See ya'll at the roadside cleanup next saturday.

david, I didn't mean any harm with the muster grounds I think that is a great ride, especially if we could connect it with the ride from the gorges state park.......

you know us young guys we think we are hardcore  and we want to see them thrash the FJ :grinpimp: please don't take offense to our comments.

and as far as I know the Jocasse area is legal as there are no posted signs, it is actually on gameland if I remember correctly. One of the rangers at the park referred us to it, saying he used to ride his dirt bike back there.

Trust me the last thing I want to do is get the club in trouble through tresspassing

no problem

I'd love to see the FJC gets some serious wheelin' here.
Jocassee sounds perfect! Get that thing dirty.
As always, if needed, I'll have your backs. :grinpimp:
Let me know if I can be of any assistance.
I'll be installing a new kitchen floor. :(
Ohm....cruiser,cruiser,cruiser....Ohm

hey david, you probaly know the answer to this one, what is the word on the hush hole, doesn't alans friend own that land....

we have to pick the place to wheel the FJ, so like you said earlier the last thing I want is to take them somewhere that is tresspassing

yeah me too, got the 40 running today so I am ready to trash it :D

we just need to find a suitable local place........ my two best ideas at the moment are Jocasse and the Hushhole, anyone know any other local trails??
