ok good tip, now i was thinking pop that cover and replace the o-ring while the pump was still mounted..is this not feasible? apoligies if its obvious i havent studied it much, thought it was the hose so i took care of that and still the small drip came back..Not handy, but if you go in they can pull up the schematic. It is the one at the very back. Removing the pump can be difficult, but once it is out it is a quick job. I recommend timing it with an oil change because there is more room without the oil filter.
cool thanks ill see how it looks when i get in there. glad you got yours done good work!Some say it is, some say it isn't. I found it not to be. It is hard to reach up there and see what you are doing when you are laying on your back on the floor. The snap ring is really tight too.
