Hey there. I have a 1992 fj80 and my power steering pump pulley started squealing the belt. I tightened it up and it started again. I noticed that if I grab the pulley and pull it toward me or push it in it slides in and out about 1/8 of an inch. Anyone able to check if theirs does the same thing? No leaks.

I'm not sure what you mean by "my power steering pump pulley started squealing the belt".
Is the pulley not spinning freely? The PS pulley should turn easily by hand with almost no resistance.
What part is "squealing"? The 3FE has 2 idler pullies with bearings.
How old are the belts?
Are they OEM belts?

When I step on the gas the belt sqeals from 10 to 40 miles per hour and the cruiser doesn’t seem to want to accelerate. The pulley has play if I pull out r push on it. Not wobbly though.

you might have a seized idler pulley or your belt is too loose....remove the belts and rotate the pulley and see if they spin freely...

I'll ask again:
