This is the guy that was selling them dirt cheap. maybe send him a message and ask if he is getting any more. it is an E2000 model.

the 2nd one down looks just like the pump I have (down to the writing) but he does not say who made it.

hopefully the first guy can come thru cause they are a great pump and normally run $100+

nice... you got lucky. He must have bought out the stock from a carquest store. I'm happy with mine so far, my ast airtex went about 60k and 5 years before I replaced it for this one, only for higher pressure.

Not much to really update,

I built shock hoops for the rear to mount some Bilstein 5200's & so far they feel great. Now I have more room for the antiwrap bar.

I have also been working on my on-bodrd air system, but not much to report on that.

As far as tuning, I think I am having fuel pressure issues. It could be my old prefilter that I have been too lazy to replace or even the fuel pump. I might spring for a $200 autometer guage that can tie into the EBL and be logged. It's been too hot to tune lately so I've been giving my attention to other areas since I already made it pass smog.

it has not been that hott lately..

Wimp..

;)

Hey, you still have some of that shifter material (rod)?

Yeah, I'm a wimp, maybe if I could get my wife to feed me popsicles and fan me while tuning I could probably get something done :princess:

I think I have about 8' of 5/8" rod & 15' or so of 3/4" let me know what you need.

I finally have a worthy update to this thread. I finally got around to building my own high steer setup. I designed arms in Autocad that would require the least amount of milling on the knuckle and space the bolts far enough appart for strength. The studs and socket cap bolts are 9/16 fine thread with D44 cone washers. I helped my neighbor mill the arms and knuckles and as simple as it looks they were quite a bit of work. I'll be running these with a surplus center hydro assist ram but I'm fairly confident they'll hold up fine.... I'm much more worried about the GM TRE's.

So far I have about 2k miles on the stroker and its running pretty good. I still have it in open loop since I've been too cheap to upgrade the stock O2 sensor to a more reliable heated one. The only problems I have had have been a blown PS hose. I rebuilt the steering box and ported it and installed new lines. that should fix all of my issues. Still a bunch of small things to do and I'd really like to get a set of big tires but the economy has really put a damper on my finances!

That's a lot of threads showing on that TRE....

Looks good tho!

I still have pieces of the 2" .250 wall dom if you want a section to widen your Tierod..

Thanks for the offer..... I still have plenty of tie rod material, I just need inserts. I can make them now that I got the taps!

Cut your current one and widen it. Use the widened section (the thick part) as the mount for your hydro ram.

Great to see some updates on this build. I was wondering what was going on. What size are those steering arm studs? You have a pic of the frame panhard mount? Sure would be  to see a set of those Goodyears carved up w/ a groover.

Panhard??

I have a grooving iron as well..

She's still around, just keeping a low profile. I've been doing tons of small things but up to this point nothing really to report. The 2k I've put on her weren't easy and only about 350 miles of paving.

The studs are the same studs used on D44 arms which are 9/16"-18tpi X 3"

No panhard, the springs are very reinforced and especially now with hydro assist, there should be no need for a panhard.

Actually Jason, you lent me your groover 2+ years ago and it has sat in my cabinet waiting for me to buy more tips. I have been very lazy about grooving the tires (which SERIOUSLY need it) since I was always about to buy a new larger set. Let me know if you want it back. I cut the piece of DOM last night & I'm hopeing to get it togther tonight or this weekend. Thanks!

LOL

Don't need it any time soon :)
