Aiming for a flush mount to the side pillars. Will need to cut and section the chromolly to push it to both pillars. Front seats got the axe also today. 3hrs of death wheel a day. Still having bought any replacement steel.

Went to the local metal works - half sheet 18gauge / 10ft stick of 1.75 120wall tube/ and 10ft 2in by 2in angle iron. $110.00 out the door - not bad. Gave them a good fog with WD-40, Floriduh isn’t nice with 110 percent humidity- it will rust over in a few hours. Crab island today —- water looks amazing today.

This is the part nobody wants to see - fighting the welder settings, angle of the MiG gun, burning through. I have enough welds that when I take the grinder to it you will never be able to see it. My machine does TIG,, I guess now would be a great time to practice. —. Tree top and limbs fell off in the storm that hit everyone. All safe and sound, tree people already cleaned up the stuck part that saved the neighborhood’s roof!
