Drip rails are garbage, what’s the thoughts on deleting the drip rail? I saw one guy did it.. I will have a roll cage I can tie into a roof rack.

Think the previous owner was trying to make room for coil overs. It’s a big space, the rear seat back will not recline all the way with these contraptions. All heavy gauge steel.

The main panel for the roof is solid… to the bend. Maybe make a drip rail taller to meet the roof panel. More like flashing on a house style. 2nd pictures are just for ideas.

Also realized that the metal works gave me a half sheet of 16gauge steel, gosh no wonder it’s so hard to bend. Sigh!

I was trying to remember yesterday who that was and was drawing a blank. I’m thinking it was one of the Aussie/Tasmanians. Was also trying to remember if there was a drip-rail/roof side patch panel that included a full drip-rail edge.
