What's the plan for welding them back on?
Are you taking tube warpage into account?
Where I work, we are experimenting with quantum thermo dynamics (QTD) this is where the thermal temperature is balanced with barometric pressure to stabilize quantum effects within a specific time/space equation.
In layman’s terms, we have solved axle warp (AW).
I’ll post pics of the final results…

here is more info on qtd, it’s super crazy tech…
this is the tricky part:

You can inboard the spring perchs on the axle housing to match the factory leaf width, or, you can outboard the spring hanger and shackle hanger on the frame to match the spring perch width on the 60 series axle housing. The first option is far less work than the second option.

I imagine the 2nd option gives you more stability, eh?

I outboarded both front and rear because I wanted it to match (for whatever reason). Even with outboarding the rear 1-1/2” on each side, the spring perches still needed to be moved inwards 11/16” (IIRC).
After cleaning off the old weld, I set the axle on the perches I built on some pieces of tubing to keep the banjo clear of the ground. I used a magnetic angle finder (incorrectly in the pic - stick it to the pinion output flange and set the axle to zero degrees). I calculated where the perches needed to be by measuring from a consistent set point on the brake backing plate flange.

What are the tabs (w/ old bolts) for? Looks like you added those to the new perches?

Physics says yes, though i suspect it may be un noticeable by the seat of the pants.
