Has anyone made fiberglass (or other material for that matter) replacement rear quarters? I'm mostly thinking about the ribbed section... and I'm wondering about joining the fiberglass to the steel panel, say at the line above the top rib running all the way up to the dogleg under the rear side doors. (Maybe even modify it for a little wider flare)

Nothing beats real steel. Not a lot of options right now for any LV owner other than custom fabbing your own.

Agree with Ken....steel is the reel deel. (albeit I have tried to fab those ribs yet )

I agree... but fiberglass is better than nothing. Only if they could be made to look correct of course.
One would want a perfect stock set to make molds. I've never done it but I've seen it done in YouTube vids and it seems viable.

Grafting in a fiberglass quarter panel on one of these trucks would be like making fiberglass floors. You just don't do it. Save the fiberglass for corvettes and boats. (And FJ40 hardtops, of course).

Please don't do it!

Stamping steel isn't hard. It just take some time to make the dies.
