That spare is the original rk3!! Talk about a survivor! Glad to see you rescue dump! It really looks pretty darn good for what it went through. I think the sheet metal is all good!

Glad to see you made it home. It was Great talking to you on the phone yesterday. Wish I could have been more help. When you get settled in and start up on the build post up a parts list. @whitey45 I agree helping out with a few donated parts to see another 45 back on the road and help a Brother out is a Great idea. So, got it home tonight. 8 hour down, 10 hours back. And I had a thought. Climbed in, jiggled what's left of the column shift into neutral and it more or less rolled off the trailer. So the drums were not glued to the brake pads. I'm going to put the spare (still there) on the passenger front and I'll have a roller - which will be great.
The top as a dent downward that I think I can pop out. No idea if it was there before, but it's totally salvageable.
Yes, this is getting a new drive train, not a full resto, I'll start a new thread. But, the engine, trans, xfer case, axles, the whole shebang is available to a good home.
Find me some 63 thru 67 styleside 45 pickups on gumtree? Bet you can’t, yes you guys do have a lot of 45’s but the majority are late model 75 and up. It is very hard to replace all the dash knobs on the easily ribbed dash.I know you probably dont need me telling you this but guys saying some parts are rare isn't really that true. We have s***loads of these in Australia and parts arnt that rare, you just gotta be patient.
Every second farm has one of these things rusting away! I order heaps of parts from America, i cant imagine it being that hard the other way.

Good luck mate, its brutal looking at those photos but if your committed you will get there in the end. One step at a time.
Sent you a PMSo, the finally called today - a month later. And offered me $11,856.
They are valuing it at 'invoice' of $15,000 as that was what I paid for it.
But, they are taking $3,144 off of that. I could not get her to say what that money was for. Clearly, it was for the frame, but she kept saying the frame was only worth $144.
So, I've got another call into the supervisor.
But, I'm not willing to pay $3,144 to keep Dumpie
So, right now, I'm going to let them have her.
If anyone out there is willing to pay $3,200 for Dumpie, I'll do the deal and they can have her.

I think the $3200 is the 'buy back' value of the FJ45.
I think he is getting $15,000 but if he wants the rig, they will knock down $3200.
I'd be curious where they are pulling that number from. My off cuff says they are asking way too much for something that may not sell at an ins auction especially since it would get a salvage title.
Yes, @Lil'John is right - sorry if I misspoke.
