Regardless, it's already on and connected.
And I'm tooled up to make my own parts in the future.
And I likely will be, as I have an fzj80 elocker axle in my possesion now.

Could you post a pic of the reamer ? I got the Snap On one and it lasted maybe 3 reams. Also, are you using a drill press or mill to run it ? I used a bench top drill press and it just plain fubared the whole project and toasted the reamer. I now use it as a trail tool to clean up tapers by hand or save some where the bad tre has wabbled out the hole.

I got it from PSC... And I did it by hand.
'twas a cast iron pitman arm....

a little easier than the billet steel one from NWF I was dealing with.

Hey Rix, I finally made it over here......

I have a few pics of a anti wrap bar on a 40 that I will get to you some how, maybe next time I am out that way.....

You really need to post pictures of this and the fab work you are doing on it, words alone dont do justice to this build.

In the process of bending the front/grill bar.
Have a chev power steering pump bracket set on the way.
Also picked up another toyota steering pump from a camry/sienna/avalon whatever (1mzfe) because I've been told that they are better pumps than the saginaw/chev stuff.....

So I ended up breaking my bender and had to wait for a while for the new parts to show, but I'm back in the swing, now:

It's a start. stinger, fenders and rock rails coming.

Hokay, so......

The gas tank and seats are back in, the brakes are on and bled (for now... still gotta SOA the rear)

The power steering is in and operational.
Drove her around to the back yard last night.:steer:

Got some other stuff done on the front as well.

More to come.

I have decided:
drum brake on the driveline sucks.
That is all.

I turned the drum off when I was still using the fxxxing POS yota case

I did not get along with it.

I know it is a moot point, but I had marlin put an insert to fit a fj80 end in my pitmit arm when I bought their hysteer some years ago, they did it for me for the price of shipping. I was a happy camper.

If I find some later 40 backing plates and stuff.... that route will work for me.

Moved the front axle forward a bit on the 40 for better shackle angles, mounted the winch, with help from Gabe, Eric, and My Dad.
Moved the rear axle's shackle hangers forward for the same reason.
Going to put longer shackles (a little longer) on both ends.
Rear spring over is done.
Ready to mount front and rear shocks soon.
It BARELY fits in my "garage" with the oem roll bar still attached.
In the process of making the rear bumper, and I'm going to plate the rear half of the frame where it goes into open "C". And I have to make a cross-member for the rear portion of the tub mounting.
