Matt,

Sunset ain't that big. My place is in Sunset, Where do your inlws live relative to the 4-way in Holly Springs?

Bought it. Picking up Saturday. I've seen worse. Several good parts and title.
I have mixed feelings about what I might do with it. It is restorable but I don't think I would take it to phase 5. More likely will install a rebuilt engine and drivetrain but we'll see. It was too good to pass up for a reasonable offer. The rear quarters are bad and rear sill but the tub is sound otherwise. The hood, windshield, front fenders, cowl and bib are very good. The best I've seen for a truck thats sat under a tree for 8 years. Pretty decent soft top with doors, good hardtop except for aftermarket sunroof. Good hardtop sides and ambulance doors, no dents. Driver door is good but fair size dent in the pass door. Some rust to be sure but nothing major except for the rear fenders and sill. The block is passed rebuilding because of storage, but the tranny and transfer may only need rebuilding. Its a good project or a great parts rig.

If you're wondering "she who must be obeyed" was nnot surprised. Good Woman:princess:

Good job Alan your other 40 is to close to done not to have another project waiting in the wings.

They live on Mt. Bethel Church Rd. I think I have to turn down Nine times and a few other roads when I head up to get on 11.

Alan,

Nice! I am sure whatever you do with it will be awesome!

Good gosh! Nice score alan!

Did anyoen see the 40 in Atl for $500 in the classifieds forum? Guy sent me pics, it had some promise. I mentioned it to the wife and she said no in a stern voice. I think 4 cars is enough :)

hmmm?

Reclaim, restore, reuse

I checked Hard40's newest project out this Sunday.
Wow...what a find! I can't wait to see it after The Master Builder's
touch is laid upon it. That is going to be a nice truck.
Dang, even the hood looks great. Rag top was nice too.
It even has a good hardtop. I'm afraid The Master Builder
is stunned at having so much good truck for a starting base. ;)
We've all witnessed the beauties he produces from wreak projects.
I repeat...This is going to be a nice truck.
Congrats to Hard40.
Another Cruiser reclaimed!
Ohm....cruiser,cruiser,cruiser....Ohm
