I didn't bother with the through bolt on the spring clamps, just straightened them out. As I understand it this allows more flex in the spring.
Half of mine were broken off already so I fugured what the hey!.![]()

Yeah, I thought about that too, and Mace brought that up too stating that it wasnt necessary, but it just gives me warm fuzzies for the time being in the belief that the leaves will stay in the pack! If I feel that the flex is limiting, I can always take em off![]()
