Glad you got the ac up and running that's one thing that hasn't been finished on @Str8Razor 60. I am going to make a suggestion the blue wire tap that you have installed I would do away with that to make a better connection that one will fail and the relays will also fail due to not being weather tight maybe move them inside the cab or find some type of weather tight mount for them.

Trail Tailor rear bumper installed and a finished engine bay shot.

Started working on the passenger side door lock. It hasn't worked since I purchased the 60 back in 2012. The key lock cylinder appeared to be jammed. Removed it and took it to a local locksmith to see if they can rebuild/repair it before spending $100 for a new one.

I ordered a new front carpet section from @reevesci for my 60 to cover the gap where I had to move the shifter hole forward for the NV4500. I am finally getting around to installing the new front carpet and when I went to take it up realized something interesting. The previous owner had glued the new carpet section the he installed over the top of the original carpet.... about half way through the removal process I realized I probably should have just installed the new carpet over the older layers as well for a bit more sound deadening effect. Oh well, the old carpet is off the older carpet and should go back in with the new this evening. I plan to install the new carpet over the old carpet as the previous owner did, minus the glue...

I installed an old mini tach I had laying around and never got the lights in it to work properly. I purchased a new mini tach that was LED backlit and it works great aside from not being green. Also purchased a scan gauge II and installed it on the top
If the steering column for now.

I ordered the carpet from Jason at Trail-Tailor @reevesci. He can get you the cost on it depending on what carpet sections you would like.

Hahaha, it was a fun project! Just plan ahead and gather parts slowly until you're ready to go!

I bought it from a guy in Denver and had a buddy pick it up for me and get it here to TX. They are all over craigslist for $800-$1200 bucks. I pulled the Inspection covers on it and it looked good so all I did was seal it back up and fill it with the factory oil from GM. Installed the AA kit to the split case and all is still the same.

Have to use the 4wd version.

Well I've put about 1,000 miles on the conversion and only have 2 issues to deal with. First is a driveline vibration that I've tracked down to slack in the pinion I believe. Second is it's getting up to 220* on the highway running 70+ with the A/C going. I originally installed dual electric fans from a dodge intrepid and those worked awesome for long idle times and around town. I got with a local sheet metal shop and had them build me the parts to do a custom metal shroud out of 16ga steel. Plan to install the OE GM manual fan and clutch that came on the 2500 gas 6.0L engines.

I had the box built to match the radiator size and 4" deep. The ring is a 20" diameter to give 3/4" clearance for the 18-1/2" factory fan.

Built a "jig" to cut a semi perfect circle with my plasma cutter. I bolted the box in and taped a sharpie to the water pump pulley to find the fan center to cut the circle on.

I got the ring tacked in and the shroud cut in half to aid in ease of install and future front engine work. I did run into a problem with the lower radiator hose coming into contact with the fan ring. And the fan only cleared the lower hose by an 1/8".

I originally cut the ring and decided that was a bad idea. I decided to make a lower radiator hose that would work with the shroud and the fan. After about 30 minutes of looking through hoses at the local parts store, I found one that had the correct looking bends that I could work with in constructing a morphodited radiator hose! I incorporated the original gates 22310 and the new delco hose to make a great solution.
