Looks good Dan. You coming to Reno again anytime soon?

What happened to Stihl Orange? I only see it on the hood release.

Can't wait to see the full truck all painted up.

I feel the same.

Can't wait to see the full truck all painted up.

Rushing the paint between coats is how I ended up getting the wrinkle finish. It is high 30's over night and mid 50's and raining during the day. After I let it sit overnight, the paint is still tacky.

I follow this thread for quite a while now and it keeps getting more and more to a point where i cant wait to see it finished, its a bit like a upside down strip-show.:p

I hope you will take some live camera action with sound for u-tube or similar to share enjoyment when these beast is done.

It will be used on accent pieces.

I did not want it to look like a big bright Pumpkin. STIHL Orange is a pretty bright Orange.

No Guts, no glory.:D

Seriously, I think the olive looks great!

I ended up with some wrinkle in my paint job too from pushing it while I was back in Manitoba at Thanksgiving. Time and temperature weren't ideal, but I wanted a full coat of paint on it before winter.

It has been done. :D

Anybody want to embed this in the thread?
