Valley Hybrids did a fast turn around on my power steering box. They reamed the pitman arm so the Dana 60 tie rod would fit.

I bolted the box back on last night and have steering for the first time in a long time.

pics!

I got alot of the wiring lined up in the engine compartment. i stilll have not figured out where the red wire goes.

I also installed the seats.

Hottrod81 assisted in identifying most all the wires in the engine compartment while I labled them. Nothing is connected yet. Maybe today.

Tvaldriz and I finished installed the KAymar bumper and swing outs we also installed the long range fuel tank last night. A very small bit of customizing was needed. We would have gotten more done but the rain quit for a bit and we took the FJ 40 out and went wheeling.

I will post pics of the tank install later today. You all will be impressed and have a big "Why didn't I think of that" thought in your mind. Especially you 60 series owners.

Con Fer FJ40 Long Range tank installed. Please remember that this is an FJ 60 frame.

It took three mudship connections to get it from Tahoe.
THANKS GUYS!

I flipped the spare tire carrier/frame brace over and notched it. I welded up a bracket to hold the rear of the tank down. I used the standard FJ40 Con Fer Long range tank straps.

Danimal is a great friend and mentor. When I visit he lets me wrench
on his projects with him, and I always learn alot from doing it.

The final version of the tank mount was the results of trial and error
but worked out great.

4x4 Lab Gear installed.

Dan, what pitman arm did you use? I need to get my tie-rod horizontal and with 4" SUA, the more drop the better.

Tvaldriz & I mounted the front bumper and installed the Warn 8274.

I picked up an old school Kaymar roof rack from Nat and Tvaldriz mudshipped for me. It is going to look sweet when installed. It's a 104" long roof rack.
