so one night my buddy mark was over having a few beers and starts telling me this idea for some sliders for our 40s well i started taking notes as i handed him another beer and the next day went from there found the local steel dealer and started ordering stuff to build to sets after all it was mark idea and i dont mind spending his money. 4 plates 1/4x48''x41/2'' had them put a 1/14'' bend along it and started from there neaxt step the tubing found another shop to do the bending 11/2'' 120. wall tubing well now that we had everything i looked to my dad to help me weld things together . we went out yesterday and mark saw his idea for the first time , everything came together here are some pics mounted before i painted them . we wanted to keep the same lines as the foot board anyway i dig them

one other thing i took some 2'' channel and cut the end at an angle welded a 1/4x2''x2'' plate to the end of it and used that to anchor the front bolt from the plate thru the body to the frame via the front body mount . worked out ok but the way 2 plates $81.00 tubing $40.00 bending tube $20.00 the look on my buddys face priceless!!!!!!! thanks mark ,

yes there are 4 bolts holding things together right now i have the front tied into the frame still thinking about how i want to tie in the rear bolt will post some more pics after paint thanks
