I was a bit worried about fuel spilling into it from the tank on off camber situations off-road but ordered the cheap check valve that is in the 80 tank to confirm one is in there. Wasn't much info out on this. I also thought about just using the existing canister vent dump into the frame but also thought about a filter if there was a cheap solution out there.

The fuel tank is designed with a fuel cutoff/check valve that prevents this. Relocating the canister does not alter this function. Most all modern vehicles have the canister located in this general area.

Installed Delta 3" rear axle bracket and adjusted my bar just about stock length:

York compressor and wits' end manifold part 1.

Started running the 3/8" air line from the tank to the engine for the York compressor. Also wrapping harnesses as I go. From the tank the line follows the now absent ABS wire path on the drivers side. Then through the radiator core support and along the passenger fender with the OEM wiring harness.

line ran from tank to rear bumper securing along the way. This general area is where I will mount the quick connect coupler. Also, cleaning and inspecting frame/axles for rust and everything looking good.

Looks good. Is this eliminating the charcoal canister under the hood?

What are you using to grind with?

I use these A LOT. They are the best thing since sliced bread (along with 1mm zip cut discs)

Flap discs.

Great for removing scale, smoothing off welds. Dressing/rounding off edges and corners without leaving visible grinding marks.

I use mostly 80 grit, and 120 grit if I want something to have a good finish. (I also have 40 fruit, but rarely use them. Too coarse)
They are easy to swap out to change between grades. Just lock the spindle lock button on grinder, and rotate the disc with your hand to undo the blade lock nut. Retighten the same way. Takes a few seconds to swap.

I haven't used a hard grinding disc in years.

Ps. Not trying to be critical, you commented you hadn't worked with metal. Looks like you've taken to it well.

Thank you.

Yes, no longer an evap canister or ABS in the engine bay. A few ideas for the empty space. Tank for water injection, fuel filter relocation, electrical, ...ect. Not sure yet.

In that pic I used a grinding wheel to get rid of the weld fast. I needed it flat to sit flush to the frame. Then hit it with a sander. I have the flap disc you have pictured plus some die grinder 3M stuff.

Made a bracket for the air coupler today.

Thank you.

I have one. Just need to tether it...I might put a condom on the whole thing as well. :)

Installing water pump, thermostat and cleaning oil cooler. All new gaskets. Surprised Yota doesn't provide a seal with the thermostat, so I have to wait for one.

Everything looking good on the inside. Going to soak the oil cooler plate to get a good flush on it.

Hey if you relocate the fuel filter, check out a 100-series. It mounts to the inner fender.

Cheers
Wow, thanks. I will check that out.
