A little progress today. I was swamped at work so not much time. Take note of instructions having one bolt mislabeled. If you are paying attention to the sizes you will know. Size A not C.

Swapped and removed springs..

I removed one ball from the upper body and one from lower body. The pressure spring pictured below is removed from the valve body and replaced with one in the kit. It is located in the second picture and retained by a removable tab. The tab can be removed vertically once you depress the pressure assembly with your finger towards the valve body.

Make sure check ball and other springs are in place. Carefully balanced and put into place solo is fun. 😊

Nice!...Grade 8 Paul?
10.9

Stepping it up a bit....Still not a fan of body damage.

Look at my truck, no body damage and it's only used for wheeling. Heck I don't even have a skidplate! Still rocking the original!

Same. Odds are against us/me lol...

Started designing a mountable tray to hold a 2.5 gallon air tank this morning. Took about 3 attempts with a fresh peice of cardboard each time, but I think I have it nailed down. The tray will be on the driver side between the slider and frame. I will utilize 2 captured nuts existing on the frame and 2 rivet nuts on the slider using M8 hardware - both sides.

I have never made anything with metal before. What is a good guage to use here, considering it will be contacting rocks? Thoughts on design?
